Javea seems to wake up and flourish from end of may through to end of September and fabulous weather brings lots of outdoor sport and leisure activities with it and lots of things to do in Javea in summer.

Playa Arenal

The only sandy beach in Javea, it’s lined with a great choice of bars and restaurants with a wide choice of cuisine to fit any budget.

You can hire sunbeds and shades and make camp for the day. You can even hire a pedalo with slide or canoe and go off exploring or rent a jet-ski or small boat (with or without skipper). You can be guaranteed a fun filled day!

And if you’re there til late afternoon, you can browse the little market stalls that sell all sorts of artesian items ranging from jewellery, bags, art, gifts and trinkets.

Montañar I and II beaches

Are both rocky with crystal clear waters. Ideal for snorkelling and relaxing when you want to escape from the real world. As it’s one of the most natural parts of the Costa Blanca coastline.

If it gets too hot, you stroll over to where they erect ‘Chiringuitos’ which are summertime pop up bars offering food too.

Playa de la Grava

Is the stoney beach located in Javea Port area. Also with sunbed and shade hire, it also has some more traditional and funky bars and restaurants surrounding it.

Not to mention the summertime stalls selling an array of lovely things from clothes, books, art, jewellery and souvenirs.

Boat trips and hire

You can either hire a boat for the day, with or without a skipper or go on a boat trip.

Boat hire is available from Javea Port or the Canal de la Fontana, at the Arenal beach.

Large boats, offering different types of day trips can be arranged online or at the office of Mundo Marino in Javea Port.
